I have used my social media reach to bring traffic and credibility to the firm - In what ways do you participate in the professional community to change/improve the accounting profession?
I co-host a webinar series called QB Power Hour in which I show my colleagues how to maximize Quickbooks and other connected technologies to improve their practices - In what ways do you participate in your local community to help others?
I our local group Woodard Group Miami, I work with local QuickBooks ProAdvisors and help them with improve their QuickBooks skills - What changes do you foresee in the accounting profession of the near future (3-5 years)?
Banks and software companies will work much better together and will commoditize the data entry portion of our profession; forcing us to add more value in other areas - How do you see yourself participating in shaping the future of the accounting profession?
Continue to be at the forefront of technology and sharing that knowledge - What is your career philosophy?
Learn as much humanly possible, share as much as time allows, and be transparent 100% of the times - Describe one person who has been an important mentor to you and how that person helped change your life.
Ron Baker, I read his books and listed to his podcast with Ed Kless; they are fantastic. I learn so much from them. Ron’s value philosophy helps be approach how I service and advice my clients.
